Catholic Campus Ministry is happy to support VP of Catholic Newman Club Reuben and his talk on "divine intimacy," on October 18th at 7:00PM in VISER, which is located in the Nancy Thompson Learning Commons- down the hall that is across from Starbucks.
Enjoy some pizza as we listen to Reuben give his talk on divine intimacy. What is divine intimacy, why is it important? How do we develop a deeper relationship with the Lord? What does that look like? How do we create better habits for prayer, and more meaningful ones at that? Reuben will explain to us that prayer is not merely spending time that is "about God," but is spending time truly "with God." How often do we as Catholics and Christians do this?
All are welcome to listen in on this talk. Following This event, at 8:30PM in the VISER room, we will have Fr. Peter join us and guide us through Eucharistic Adoration. This is worship and time spent dedicated to sitting with the Blessed Sacrament. We begin at 8:30PM, and you are welcome to stay as long as you wish- to sit in silence, pray, meditate with Jesus, read the Bible, silently recite a rosary- all up to you. Light worship music will be played.
Questions regarding the talk on divine intimacy can be directed to Newman Club VP Reuben, and questions regarding Eucharistic Adoration can be directed to Campus Minister Lucia at lpasternak@kean.edu. Follow Campus Ministry on Instagram at @KeanCatholics to stay up to date on these events.
