Our annual summer pilgrimage is here! This year, we are headed to the Pope’s alma mater, Villanova University, on Sunday, August 2nd.
We will have Mass, learn about the Order of St. Augustine & Augustinian spirituality, and visit St. Thomas of Villanova Church, where Servant of God Fr. Bill Atkinson OSA rests. We look forward to have the opportunity to also hear more about Fr. Bill and his road to sainthood.
All members of the KeanCatholics community are welcome to attend, including our 2026 and recent graduates! We also welcome anyone from our intercollegiate community.
RSVP to Lucia at Lpasternak@kean.edu , and include whether you plan to drive yourself or will be in need of carpooling from Kean’s campus. RSVP is due by Friday, July 24, about one week out from the trip.
We recommend bringing a bag to fit any snacks, reusable water bottle, and a packed lunch if you prefer. There is a Wawa on campus, and we will be having lunch at “Campus Corner,” the nearby pizza place famous to Villanova students. Villanova is also famous for their NCAA basketball champs (Go Nova Knicks!), so you may want some additonal spending money for the campus bookstore.
Reach out to Lucia with any questions you may have via email or on our ministry’s GroupMe.
