Speak Now: Finding Faith in Taylor Swift's Music

Question...? Do you like Taylor Swift, and do you also enjoy talking about your faith or worship music? Then this event is for you! Catholic Campus Ministry and Cougar Connections Center for Social Work present an event all about faith in the Lord, and Taylor Swift, on November 14th at 7:00PM in MSC 226B!

**THIS EVENT WAS ORIGINALLY OCTOBER 24th, AND WAS CANCELED FOR THIS DATE. EVENT WILL NOW BE ON NOVEMBER 14!

We know all too well that Taylor Swift is trending for her iconic reputation and music career ahead of the rerelease of her upcoming album, 1989 (Taylor's Version). So Campus Ministry and Cougar Connections want to share with you that Taylor's music can play a role in your faith life! This event will discuss secular music and how it can be a part of your spiritual wellness and relationship with the 1, the Lord, even if it is not labeled Christian music.

We will first be discussing music and how it can benefit our wellness and spirituality, then go into workshopping Taylor's timeless, poetic lyrics to see where we can see Christian faith represented. Pizza dinner will be provided, and we encourage you to come dressed up in your favorite Taylor merch or era. Long story short, you do not want to miss this! So dear reader, grab your cardigan and bring a friend, and run to this event. Are you... ready for it?!

Questions about this event can be directed to Campus Minister Lucia at lpasternak@Kean.edu, or Social Worker Liz O'Donnell from Cougar Connections at eliodonn@kean.edu. All are welcome to attend.
