KeanCatholics is partnering up with the other Campus Ministries within the Archdiocese of Newark to host bingo for the residents of Mercy House, Jersey City! We will play bingo and give out prizes, eat dessert, and chat with the residents.

This will take place on Friday March 27, 2026 at 4:30pm to latest 7:30pm at the Mercy House located at 20 Greenville Ave, Jersey City.

The Mercy House Jersey City location has been open since 2022, and provides nonperishable food, clothing, baby supplies, furniture, and help finding work and housing to all who request assistance. It currently houses 32 women. It was opened by the Archdiocese of Newark Respect Life Office.

Students can meet us there for the start time, or are welcome to drive with Lucia (she can fit 4 people in her car) from Kean’s campus. Carpooling with Lucia requires RSVPing with her by speaking to her directly.

We will be collecting dry and pantry goods to bring to the residents at this event- so please bring any donations to the Campus Ministry Office or any ministry event!

Donations can include but are not limited to: pastas, oatmeal, cereal, mac and cheese, pb & j, canned fruits, veggies, proteins or soups, rice, instant potatoes, etc. Anything shelf stable!
