Following Catholic Newman Club’s discussion on Divine Intimacy from 7:30-8:30pm, Campus Ministry will be holding Eucharistic Adoration in the VISER Lab from 8:30-9:15pm on the evening of October 14, 2025.
Unfamiliar with Eucharistic Adoration? Here is what to expect:
Eucharistic Adoration is a time for worship of Jesus Christ, to adore His presence in the Blessed Sacrament.
We ask that anyone attending silence phones and refrain from using your devices; in order to place sole focus on the Body of Christ. This is also respectful to those praying around you.
When present in adoration, it is appropriate to kneel as the priest unveils the Eucharist, the Body of Christ, then either sit back in your seat or remain kneeling. as you wish throughout the length of adoration.
Adoration is a time for silent prayer or reflection. Some people close their eyes, some pray the rosary, some read the Bible, write or journal, etc.
There will be periods of silence, and period of light worship music played during the evening.
You are welcome to stay for the whole time, or to silently & reverently enter and exit as you wish.
It begins and concludes with prayer, which will be provided on sheets of paper before we begin.
In the back of the VISER Lab, there is a small green room separated from the rest of the lab which the visiting priest can provide the Sacrament of Confession. You are welcome to request this during adoration if a priest is available.
